Project Information______________________________

In support of AGL Networks’ Atlanta metropolitan fiber network, Aerial Mapping Solutions provides planimetric base mapping services for engineering  and design applications.

The network consists of a series of eight conduits totaling  125 miles in length and will serve critical points of contact within Atlanta's Central Business District, as well as, areas north of the city such as Buckhead, Cumberland/Galleria and Sandy Springs.

 

Services provided by Aerial Mapping Solutions LLC include:

  • Acquisition of 1"=350' and 1"=700' scale black and white aerial photography

  • GPS Surveys

  • Analytical Triangulation

  • Planimetric Mapping

Deliverable products include:

  • GPS Hand hole Locations

  •  Digital map files in AutoCAD format at 1”=20’ and 1”=50’

Aerial Mapping Solutions provided detailed planimetric and topographic mapping for a road design project in Port Gibson, Mississippi. The project was in support of MDOT and their efforts to provide an access road to the Grand Gulf Nuclear Power Plant. The Site consists of 3,500 +/- acres.

Services provided by Aerial Mapping Solutions LLC include:

  • Black and white aerial photography at 1"=400'

  • Analytical triangulation

  • Planimetric Mapping at 1”=50'

  • Digital Terrain Model data

  • Contour generation at 1 foot interval

  • Digital map files in AutoCAD 2000 format
